Telcoin team keep growing strong!

We are pleased to introduce a new Team member in the Telecom Business Development department, Laurent-Michel Tamet.
Laurent-Michel previously worked in the quality of a CEO of NRJ Group France, Executive VP at SFR, Executive VP at Bouygues Telecom and senior Executive search partner at Alexander Hugues.
He joins the team with more than 20 years of executive experience and an impressive corporate network.
A word from Laurent-Michel :
“- the blockchain – the technology of the simplicity of use that goes hand in hand with the technology of trust.
It is then about to restorepower of digital to users, peer to peer, … at the time when the proliferation and internationalization of uses and their exchanges require it.
It’s the simplification for the user to be able to trust instantly;
And, structurally, at cost of trust tending towards zero!
It is thus structurally transforming the paradigm of the currency to make it coherent with current and future modes of exchange, without barriers, intermediation of anybody and without breaks in processes.
And it is also the strategic opportunity offered to Telecom carriers to position themselves as the protagonists acting digital concentration in the hands of GAFA’s … while they were till now more than threatened, being more and moredisintermediating of their users by GAFA’s!
It is finally a team that writes day by day the new paradigm of merit and success, at once visionary, techno-strategic and maker, and that succeeds where the only veryhigh educated are less ready and prepared to go ahead!
Those are all the reasons why I’m myself involved in theTELCOIN project!”
The GSMA Fraud & Security Group (FASG #11) in Tokyo,15th-17th of May 2018.

Telcoin is sponsoring the FASG#11:
Strengthening our relationships with the telecom world, we will introduce our security and fraud management models to a selected group of world class experts in Tokyo on May 16th.
We are very excited to share our knowledge of blockchain protocols with GSMA members in order to move together toward a safer future for financial services in the telecom industry.
French Media

Following our European expansion, we are building and maintaining media connections with prominent groups.
The team was invited at TF1 and RTL to discuss potential collaboration angles and media coverage.
As the core team counts several French nationals, our story strongly resonated with them, opening the door for future cooperation.
Telcoin in Europe

Several members of the core team were in Europe to onboard and train local sales and support teams in addition to moving forward with our European compliance track.
The team took advantage of their time to meet to with local blockchain entrepreneurs, media groups, and MNOs.
As a market with dozens of billions of dollars of remittance volume every year, Europe is a key market for Telcoin and we will do everything in our power to serve Europeans and become the de-facto solution for cross-border remittances in the region.
Telecom Business Development Department business trip

Our one-two punch Paul and Jeff lately went on a extended business trip over 4 countries: UAE, Indonesia, South Korea and the Philippines where they were joined by our compliance team.
Given our mission, it is important to establish and maintain healthy relationships with MNOs and regulators, which sometimes require face-to-face meetings, even within the world of technology companies.
Always following local regulations, we are currently working on various phased rollout plans for different countries. This strategy has so far proven successful in bringing Telcoin closer to the end users!
